THE BRIEF
Nation Ford Chemical is a specialty organic chemical manufacturer serving customers globally. They produce mainly three products: sulfanilic acid (optical brightner for paper and concrete), PANA (lubricant additive for jets) and smoke dyes (used by the US military for smoke signaling). NFC needed an identity overhaul and rebranding of everything.
THE CHALLENGE
NFC had a dated identity with a gradient that was challenging to reproduce on various media.
GOAL/PROCESS
Create a new corporate identity for NFC that 1) projected strength, clarity, sustainability and 2) had the ability to be easily reproduced transmedia.
UNIQUE SOLUTION
The chosen design was a forward leaning parallelagram emphasizing the progressive nature of the company. The blue represents strength while the green hints of the organic/sustainable nature of the company. While simple in form, it is clean, memorable and more simple to reproduce in various forms.
